The following are the Groups, Vintages and Classes eligible for entry to the Moto Concorso 2008, Monterey, California, USA.

The general emphasis is on motorcycles that contributed to the sporting image of motorcycling both in street or racing guise and with a special emphasis on Italian racing motorcycles, Motogiro eligible motorcycles and Scooters.

There are several general entry motorcycle groups, those for regular use and those for competition. Within those groups are the vintages, based on the year of manufacture and, within those vintages are specific classes based on engine type and displacement.

For special groups, vintage or class, or should your bike not fit one of the posted categories contact the DVC via e-mail, we are open to all motorcycles, scooters and mopeds.

  • Fill out the PDF entry form
  • Select one the many available payment options; Paypal for credit cards or electronic checks (paypal account name is: Pay@ducativintageclub.com); USPS mail, check, cashiers check or money order
  • Send your completed form via e-mail, fax or USPS mail

Groups:

  1. Sport (Street motorcycles designed for performance)
  2. Gran Tourismo (Performance motorcycles designed also for comfort and passengers.
  3. Road-Race (Racing motorcycles for use on hard surfaces)
  4. Off-Road (Racing motorcycles for use on loose, dirt or uneven surfaces)
  5. Italian racing motorcycles
  6. MotoGiro eligible racing motorcycles
  7. Scooters

Vintage:

  1. Pre 1945
  2. 1946 to 1958
  3. 1958 to 1974
  4. 1975 to 1987
  5. 1988 to current

Classes:

  1. 250cc and under
  2. 251cc to 500cc
  3. 501cc and above

NOTE: all payments must be in US funds

Entry fee must accompany the application form. Entry fee is $40 for the first motorcycle and $20 for the next three additional entries each. The fourth or more entries are free of charge however, they must all belong to the same owner and each have an entry form filled out. Special discount for Motogiro America participants and for Motogiro eligible motorcycles. The entry fee(s) are non-refundable. Entrant will be notified by email, phone or regular mail. This event is to show the motorcycle and the entrant may engage in no other activity. Entering this event does not authorize the entrant to engage in any commercial activity or any activity for financial gain. Entrants may have up to “11x17” flyer/poster for each of their motorcycles describing the motorcycle, the owner, the restorer or other relevant information pertaining to that motorcycle. There shall not be any literature displayed, attached or hanging from the motorcycle other than that pre approved by the organizers.  Judging decisions are final.

NOTE: Special storage and security has been arranged for the week preceding, during and following the Motogiro event for show bikes not being used on the Motogiro America ride.  Show and Motogiro entrants can get info on this special storage arraignments from Info@motoconcorso.com
